ACCOMPANIST: Petr Yanchuk In October 2024, Teatro Grattacielo and Camerata Bardi International Academy successfully concluded the inaugural edition of a week-long residency in the picturesque town of Saturnia, Italy. Supported by Polo Culturale Pietro Aldi and Tema Vita, the residency offered young opera singers an intensive audition bootcamp, culminating in performances at the Morellino Classical Festival in the nearby medieval city of Scansano. Polo Culturale Pietro Aldi preserves and displays the largest collection of works by the 19th-century painter from Manciano, known for his depictions of significant historical events, particularly those related to the formation of the Italian nation, as well as landscapes and portraits of the beloved Maremma region. Through this collaboration, participants had the unique opportunity to refine their skills in a setting rich with cultural and artistic heritage.
